Petro Mirci works as a technician for precision engineering at a leading medical device company in Tuttlingen. Here he is instrumentally involved in the development of new endoscopes and related accessories. He takes over the management of the repair department and gathers international experience at a subsidiary in the United States. Here he introduces new work processes and production optimization.

Petro Mirci founds and runs a business in Nashville / Tennessee for the production and repair of rigid endoscopes.

Finally, homesickness drives the diehard Tuttlingen back to the banks of the beautiful Danube river – and thus back to "where one has medical technology in one's blood." Here Petro Mirci establishes the Endoservice Optical Instruments GmbH.

Petro Mirci begins with the production of new devices and prototypes, which he himself develops, designs and successfully submits for a patent. 

Giovanni Mirci, Petro's brother, enters the company as co-managing director and commercial director.

The number of employees increases constantly and the Endoservice GmbH moves into its newly constructed corporate building in the Rudolf-Diesel-Straße 16, 78576 Emmingen, Germany. 

Endoservice is registered with the FDA (Food on Drug Administration) in the USA.

Success in terms of Regulatory Affairs: Endoservice receives FDA 510 (k) approval for medical devices in the United States.
